This was the first time we met Matt, it was "meet the parents" time. Who knew then that two years later, we'd be celebrating thier marriage in Austin?
One of our favorite pictures of Matt and Carrie, taken in Austin, November, 2003. The next day, Matt asked me if we'd support his asking her to marry him and two weeks later he proposed to Carrie in Dallas!
Matt and Carrie, taken at Carrie's graduation from SMU's MBA program in the summer of 2004. We were all very proud of her personal accomplishment in completing the program while working maintaining some level of real life.
And then they were a couple .... married in Austin on October 9th, 2004. It was a pleasure to share the joy with family and friends, and we were very happy to welcome Matt into our family. Here are some pictures from that day!
